Sep 12th-- Two of our brothers met the State President and updated him on the activities of SAI ANANDAM. Orissa youth pilgrimage to Parthi was also discussed . State President approved of our suggestion to have an advisory committee consisting of 5 senior members of the Organisation for Sai Anandam. He also directed us to take steps to take up Gothapur village near Barang as an 'adopted village'. Few of our brothers had earlier conducted a few programmes there and the response has been overwhelming.
He also advised us to ensure strict discipline in the ashram and have regular medical check ups for the kids.
Sep 15th-- Ganesh puja is celebrated in SAI ANANDAM amidst heavy rains . Lala bhai dons the role of the 'Nanaa' and conducts the Puja at 7 am. Bhoga and panchamruta prepared by our nanaa are distributed to all.
Sep 18th-- Bro Kalindi of Mangarajpur village joins Team Sai Anandam as a caretaker cum tutor. Being a spiritual coordinator and Bal Vikas guru he is indeed an asset to us.
Sep 22nd-- Lala bhai and myself reach Sai Anandam at lunch time. The children have not gone to school today due to the continuous rains. They appear a much more disciplined lot now. We have a story telling session and then join in for lunch. Of course, we pay Rs 6 in true parthi south indian canteen style, but the food is perfectly oriya. After lunch, we sing a few bhajans together. Eyes closed, back straight, clapping and singing full throated, these little angels are doing it all here in SAI ANANDAM.
