SAI ANANDAM Diary

aug 14th-- the children are admitted into the local school just across the road. local devotees are coming forward to give any kind of help required, from coaching 4 the kids to getting them mosquito nets.

aug 19th--Bro. Lala is down with fever and a sore throat. He has been camping here 24*7. He is even cooking food for the kids at times. My first entry into Sai Anandam is greeted by a bunch of kids happily playing kabbadi. Lala bhai n me sit down n make their daily schedule . We want to wake the kids up at 6 am but they are up by 530 by themselves. We decide to call a meeting of Sai students in cuttack and bbsr on sunday.

aug 22nd-- one of the kids is taken to capital hospital for a medical check up by lala bhai as he has a skin problem. Luckily it is curable and not contagious, so the little one can continue in SAI ANANDAM.

aug 24th-- another trip to mangarajpur , kujang and pankapal villages. The final four are selected from among 18 wo came. Its really heart touching to hear to the conditions they live in and heart breaking to leave out the rest. We pray to the Lord to give us strength to tske them in our fold soon.

aug 26th-- we assemble in SAI ANANDAM for our meeting. The kids have already taken a few strides in one week. they have learnt a few bhajans and shlokas. we conducted a mini bhajan competition for them. The meeting was attended by sony bhai, lala bhai, sai ashish , manas, amrut and myself. By numbers we may seem small, but check out the pecentage-- 90% of known Sai students in ctc n bbsr attended the meeting :)
