A service programme on loving reconstruction of less privileged children

ITS CHARACTER AND ADMINISTRATION 

Character

1. It is instituted by some alumni of Sri Sathya Sai University, Prasanthinilayam.
2. It is run by them, with the help of a registered charitable trust, named SAI ANADAM TRUST, its members drawn from the alumni only.
3. Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba is its guiding guru.
4. So it strictly follows the principles of loving service enunciated by Him.
5. It is run with willing and unconditional contributions of benevolent persons / groups.  The Trust decides how the money thus received should be utilized.
6. Though the Trust thankfully accepts contributions from anybody, it does not make any public appeal for it.
7. The members associated with the Trust, and management of the campus are not motivated by any personal gains, financial, social, or otherwise. So no such desire is encouraged in connection with the project.
8. The daily schedule of the campus is scripted at large with a view to inculcating in the inmates of the campus a strong moral character, a healthy social awareness, religious tolerance, spiritual inclination, and love for Indian cultural heritage.
9. The Trust does not encourage any action, in the campus or outside, which may undermine a dignified personality growth of the inmates.

Administration

      1.      The children inducted to the campus from time to time shall live and grow here completely free of 

            charge for all their personal needs.

2.      They shall be admitted to a nearby school in suitable classes for formal education, which shall be supplemented by the staff of Sai  Anandam.

3.      They shall be served with free modest food, two major meals, and two refreshments.

4.      They are not allowed to visit anybody’s house outside the campus or stay outside overnight without the express permission of the administrator.

5.      Visitors are not encouraged to make personal contacts with the children without permission of the administrator.

6.      Any gifts meant for the children should be handed over to the administrator, not to the children.

7.      There shall be no girl child living in the campus.

8.      The children shall not be used in any explicit fund raising programme, except when it is part of a skill-learning schedule, used to teach them some self-support system.

It shall be the bounden duty of the Trust to see that the campus is protected against any outside on inside influence which might jeopardize the growth of the children on announced guidelines.
